DFDS added a new ferry to its fleet, therefore, a new crew was sought. Cooks, customer service technicians, security guards were hired. The aim of the campaign was to attract new employees for customer service positions at sea and to shape the image of DFDS as an attractive and competitive employer.
We needed to come up with a creative idea that would attract younger and more flexible audience. The specifics of working on DFDS ferries has prompted us the solution – to invite potential employees take up a job which will offer half-a-year-long vacation. Campaign’s slogan: Like vacation? Work on the ferries and enjoy holiday for half a year.
The campaign received a total more as 4.7M impressions and over 479 job applications during the two-month campaign period, which definitely exceeded our expectations!
