In order to educate the public, company launched a non-branded campaign.
It was decided to focus on 3 steps: pay attention to your health, check it regularly, control potential risks. Healthcare professionals in various fields have joined forces to spread the message that can save lives – topic initiations appeared in TV, radio, news portals and press. Banners were employed as a tool encouraging people to check their health, a website cukrinesirdis.lt was launched to provide more relevant information. Video presentation was shown in 29 hospitals & clinics located in 15 Lithuanian cities. Key initiative of the campaign – art installation by artist Agnė Kišonaitė (having type 1 diabetes herself) meant to draw public attention was exhibited in public places in Vilnius and Kaunas.
