World-wide Census of BC Žalgiris Fans

Agency‘s task: to strengthen partnership between Utenos alus and BC Žalgiris Kaunas and to introduce a new beer for the most popular team in Lithuanian sports history. 

We created a global Žalgiris fan survey platform and launched the campaign in the team’s hometown – Kaunas city. Main communication activities included creating and supporting main platform for the census, active communication in social media, 3 content projects in major online portals, special events for the fans and activities in BC Žalgiris home arena during the games.   

During the campaign, every real fan of BC Žalgiris was reached. This was ensured by extremely active communication on the team’s Facebook account and the use of other team‘s communication channels (newsletters, Žalgiris TV reports, special team events, etc.). In total, over 35,000 Žalgiris fans from 36 countries and more than 500 cities registered in the census.
